Artificial intelligence in publishing meets literary translation

Discussion
PolishGerman

No longer a dream of the future, artificial intelligence is changing the way we write, design and research. The publishing industry is at the beginning of a transformation. Even literary translation is becoming easier with the help of intelligent language programs. What does this mean for translators and publishers?

Programme

We invite you to look into the crystal ball together with our experts. What course should be set, what is already being used and done? Which are the opportunities and risks, what about quality assurance and copyright issues?

An introductory lecture will be followed by a panel discussion. Registration is not required. Simultaneous translation Polish – German is provided.

Afterwards, the Frankfurt Book Fair and the German Embassy in Warsaw will host a reception at the German Stories stand (No. 137).

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the event!

A realistic scene of a gender-neutral young person and a friendly robot sitting on a train. They are translating a book together, with the book open between them. The background shows a blurry landscape and a bright sunny sky. The atmosphere is peaceful, collaborative, and slightly futuristic
