Of Hats and an Enchanted Mountain

Workshop
GermanPolish

Did you know that headwear has a long and exciting history? We wear them for all sorts of reasons - for protection, as jewellery and sometimes as a symbol of power! Have you ever wondered where the bobble on a hat comes from?

Workshop for children aged 6-10

Part of the Goethe-Institut's 'Litrix.de' programme presentation

Programme

We invite you to a workshop where we will go on a journey around the world to discover the secrets of hats, crowns, caps and other unusual headgear. We will find out who wore them, why they were so important and there will be a chance to create your own unique hat!

We'll also tell you the extraordinary story of the Mountain of Grey, which will convince you that it's always worth looking at the world with optimism - whether you're wearing a hat, crown or bobble hat.

See you on Saturday morning!

Moderated by Małgorzata Słabicka-Turpeinen and Anna Wziątek
