Querverlag is German’s first and only LGBTIQ publishing company. Founded in 1995, Querverlag was born out of the idea that queer people should combine forces, talents, and resources to provide Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland with quality books which reflect our issues, lives and experiences. Over the last 26 years, our list has grown to over 300 titles, both fiction and non-fiction, novels and mysteries, poetry and essays, from queer theory to books on LGBTIQ history and activism. Above all, we have focused our attention on providing German authors with the possibility of publishing original works.
