Marina Agathangelidou, born in Athens in 1984, lives in Berlin. She studied Theatre and Literary Translation in Athens and subsequently earned her doctorate at the Institute for Theatre Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. She has been working as a freelance translator since 2006. She translates from German into Greek and vice versa and writes in both languages. She has publications (poems, essays, reviews) in various magazines, newspapers, and online media. She is a jury member for the Goethe-Institut's translation funding program Litrix.de (2019-2021: focus on Greek) and also works for Lettrétage.
