The project Deutschlandjahr (Germany Year) 2020/21 aims to encourage people to look towards the future – and to present Germany as a modern, progressive country, as well as a reliable European partner to Russia and its people. The organisers aim to highlight various aspects of life in Germany, special features of German-Russian relations, and to further strengthen the ties between the two countries. Dialogue and interaction between people play a key role in the project, as they give real meaning to the bilateral relations.
