Pola Kapola 
was born in Athens. She has studied at the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Athens and has a Μasters degree in Information and Communication Technologies in Education. She has worked as a writer and researcher of educational material for children and adults. Since 2015 she is the president of the Athens Book Publishers Association. As of 2001 she is the owner and general manager of nissos publications. She lives and works in Athens.
