Ivana Bernhard is born in Tripolis, Libya and has Serbian roots. After her studies of International Correspondence she started her professional career at the Stuttgart-based foreign rights agency of Dorling Kindlersley Limited, the famous non-fiction publisher from the UK, where she worked for ten years. Today she holds the position of the International Sales Director at Thienemann-Esslinger Verlag, the renowned German Children’s book publisher. She speaks eight languages and is currently learning the ninth one: Arabic. She lives in Stuttgart, Germany.
