Founded in 1863, the independent Loewe Verlag publishes about 250 titles per year as one of the largest children’s and youth book publishers in Germany. The programme ranges from board books over illustrated first reading and books for children to young adult novels by award-winning and bestselling authors like Cornelia Funke, Isabel Abedi, Arno Strobel and Ursula Poznanski. Over the past few years, Loewe has started to publish green books as well as some innovative activity and crafting books.
