Marcella studied book trade and publishing in Leipzig and creative writing in Hildesheim. Since 2019 she has been working for Litprom e.V., a non-profit-organization promoting literatures from African, Latin American, Asian and Arab countries in Germany, mostly organizing literary events. During her bachelor studies, Marcella volunteered for a children’s library in Leipzig.
