Kuan-Yu Chen (Chester), currently working at Goethe-Institut Taipei as a language course and examination officer, is the translator of Emilia Roig's book “Why We Matter - Ende der Unterdrückung” (Why We Matter - End of Oppression), which will be published in Taiwan in 2023. He has more than ten years of teaching experience at various high schools and the Goethe-Institut Taipei. Translating books is his passion alongside his professional work, and as an avid reader and language lover, he sees translation work as a perfect combination of his interests.
