CEEOL Press (www.ceeolpress.com) was established in 2020 by building on the
intellectual strength and the 20-year history of Central and Eastern European Online
Library (www.ceeol.com).

CEEOL Press is an eBook publisher with Print-on-Demand option for each title. Our
books are available through the CEEOL repository, which delivers content to institutions
and individuals world-wide (to about 4 million users). We also sell our titles through
major online eBook retailers (e.g., amazon.com, bookdepository.com).

We are focusing on the human aspect of large-scale political and historical events.
The minority cultures of our region represent a significant area of our publishing
program. Small and oral histories, memoirs, contemporary and classic literature—a few
genres CEEOL Press publishing is interested in.

We strive for making the cultural heritage of our region available in our new, digital
environment. Although, CEEOL Press is not an exclusively open access publisher, we do
have the means and the platform to disseminate OA publishing project as well.
