Merlin Verlag
Founded in 1957 and located near Hamburg, MERLIN VERLAG is a small but important independent German publishing house. Its program includes German and international literature, theatre plays and art works, which are both entertaining and socially relevant. MERLIN is open to the world and to diversity, sometimes controversial and mainly off the mainstream. The Publishing house has a long tradition of publishing French-writing authors such as Jean Genet or Boualem Sansal and a more recent focus on indigenous “Own Voices” stories, particularly from Canada, including David A. Robertson.
