Barbora Baronová is a literary documentarian, writer, book curator, independent publisher, journalist, artist and lecturer on self-publishing, author/co-author of 10+ books (Slečny, Intimita, Ženy o ženách, Hlasy žen: Austrálie, Odolná společnost etc.). Barbora holds several awards, such as Magnesia Litera and The Most Beautiful Czech Book. Her work was also shortlisted in other book competitions, such as The Best Documentary Book of the Year at Ji.hlava IFF or the Photo-Text Book competition at the Photo Festival in Arles, France. She is a member of the Czech Writers Association and the International Alliance of Independent Publishers. Since 2012, Barbora has been running wo-men publishing house.
