Claire Schmartz translates from French and English into German and Luxembourgish. She is interested in the diversity of francophone literature (with a focus on Caribbean and African literature) as well as non-fiction. She is convinced that translations are an important means of building bridges in our globalised, multilingual world – be it with stories, memories or ideas.
