Neige Sinno
Born in the Hautes-Alpes region in 1977, Sinno spent some time in the US and is currently settled in
in Mexico with her partner and daughter.
Sinno works as a translator and has also published short stories, literary essays, and a novel.
In Triste tigre she addresses the trauma of child sexual abuse; the book became a publishing phenomenon in 2023, receiving numerous awards, such as the Prix littéraire Le Monde; the Prix Blù Jean-Marc Roberts; the Prix Les Inrockuptibles; the Prix Goncourt des lycéens; the Prix Femina and in 2024 in its Italian translation the Prix Strega Européen.
