Fabienne Vanoirbeek holds a doctorate in Philosophy and Literature, with a thesis focused on the complete works of the Swiss-German author Max Frisch. She is in charge of German language training at various faculties of the Université de Namur. She also teaches literature, German culture and literary translation (German-French) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.  She is particularly interested in children's literature.
