Professor Chien-Liang Lee, Dr. jur., University of Göttingen, Germany, is Distinguished Research Professor and Director at the Institutum Iurisprudentiae, Academia Sinica and Professor at the College of Law of National Taiwan University. His research focuses on constitutional law, administrative law, environmental law and technology law. He received the Dr. Hu Shih Memorial Chair Professorship in Academia Sinica in 2012, the Outstanding Research Award from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in 2013, and the Outstanding Research Award in 2022 from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) in 2022. He also served as the Chair of the Law Department of MOST from 2017 to 2020. He is currently the project leader for an interdisciplinary research project sponsored by the NSTC: “In the Age of AI: Reflections on the Humanities and the Rule of Law in the Digital Society”, and is setting up a homepage: “Taiwan Arificial Intelligence Wise Agent Network” (https://ai.iias.sinica.edu.tw/) (since 2020).
