Ulli Lust, born in Vienna in 1967, moved to Berlin in 1995, where she studied graphic design and now primarily creates comics for an adult readership. In addition to the erotic series springpoem, which is based on a prehistoric spring ritual, her main interests are comic reportage and documentary comics. She runs the webcomic publisher electrocomics.com, which publishes international author comics. She has also had stories published by avant-verlag in both Flitter (2006) and PLAQUE02 (2007). Individual titles by Ulli Lust published by avant-verlag include Fashionvictims, Trendverächter (2008) and Heute ist der letzte Tag vom Rest deines Lebens (2009).
