The Goethe-Institute Taipei organises and supports a wide range of cultural events to introduce German culture to Taiwan as well as promote a German-Taiwanese and intercultural exchange. Their offer includes German courses, workshops, and seminars for teachers in the field of German as a foreign language as well as an extensive examination programme. The German language is also actively promoted in Taiwanese schools as part of the initiative "Schools: Partners for the Future". The information centre of the Goethe-Institute Taipei provides materials on current aspects of cultural, social, and political life in Germany and has an extensive collection of books and media.
