Katharina Eleonore Meyer, after studying cultural sciences and earning a PhD in Classical Archaeology (1996), gradually joined the Merlin Publishing House, founded in 1957 by her father, Andreas J. Meyer. Since 2000, she has been a partner, managing director, and publisher of Merlin Verlag. Since 2008, she has also been the publisher of Little Tiger Verlag, which was founded in 1987 by Andreas J. Meyer & Thomas Huggle for Janosch. One of the more well-known new authors of Merlin is Boualem Sansal, the 2011 Peace Prize laureate, whom KEM included in the Merlin program in 2000. Since the summer of 2021, Katharina Eleonore Meyer has been the Chair of the Board of the Kurt Wolff Foundation.
