Katherina Rapp graduated from Leipzig University of Applied Sciences in 2008 with a degree in bookselling and publishing management. Since then, she has worked for Frankfurter Buchmesse in a variety of roles. Currently, she is manager of international projects, with responsibility for organising workshops and author event programmes and German collective stands at international book fairs.
