We are a long-established, forward-looking firm; a regional publishing house with a view “beyond all frontiers” – a small team with a large range: travel – art – poetry and fiction – contemporary history. Our passion lies with volumes of photographs with subjects ranging from nude photography to more specialist topics – and we happily include more leftfield publications. We have a particular weakness for "lost places" and for photography that reflects life in Communist East Germany. Furthermore, challenging German contemporary prose fits into our fiction range as snugly as top-quality light fiction. Translations of gems of world literature, so far undiscovered in German-speaking countries, are enveloped in bibliophilic attire in our “Bibliothek der Entdeckungen", the library of discoveries, enabling them a first opportunity to conquer the German-speaking readership.
