In her latest novel, The Flickering Light, Nino Haratischwili offers a powerful tribute to friendship and the resilience of women.

Programme

As Georgia remains in the spotlight following recent elections and ongoing tensions with Russia, Haratischwili masterfully tells the story of four Georgian friends, tracing their journey from the aftermath of the Berlin Wall’s fall to the present day, where they reunite at an art opening in Brussels. With remarkable precision, she weaves historical upheavals into the fabric of her characters’ intimate lives, crafting a sweeping yet deeply personal narrative.

In conversation with Anne-Lise Remacle, she will discuss The Flickering Light as well as her broader body of work.

Nino Haratischwili will be signing books from 2:50pm – 3:20pm
