We human beings go into the forest to experience nature, but we often behave loudly and carelessly. How would a woodland animal perceive us? This richly illustrated book allows children and adults to experience the forest through the eyes and ears of a vixen. We accompany her through one whole year of her life. We learn how she hunts, eats, communicates, marks her territory, brings up her young, and finally, how she experiences human beings.

Patricia Thoma, born in 1977, is a visual artist, illustrator and author of the children's book Unsere Zukunft Träumen (Dreaming Our Future) and museum educator. Her work has won numerous awards and scholarships and has been featured in international exhibitions.

The artist and environmental manager Juliana Aschwanden-Vilaҫa has created a book that introduces these biomes with striking illustrations. In doing so, she opens our eyes to the fragility of the world. This artfully designed non-fiction book is suitable for children aged 10 and up.

Born in Brazil, Juliana Aschwanden-Vilaҫa studied architecture and landscape architecture. After several years in the environmental industry, she completed a master's degree in illustration to devote herself primarily to environmental issues through art. Her work has won several awards.

Hans Könnecke, born in 1997, is a composer, instrumentalist and music producer for film, theatre and other media. Since 2018 he has been studying composition at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Munich. For the QR codes in Sounds Good, he composed 50 audio examples and recorded them with instrumental soloists.
