Taipeh, Tiflis, Tel Aviv and now Tirana: GERMAN STORIES displays a book exhibition travelling around the globe to present a cross-section of current German-language literature – highlighting award-winning books with more than 300 German titles.
Have a look at Children´s and Youth books, fiction & non-fiction books, graphic novels, German literature, translated into Albanian and the Best Book Design from Germany.
One of the collections on display is dedicated to the theme of war and peace, based on Erich Maria Remarque's best-known title All Quiet at the Western Front.
On 4 October, the ceremonial opening of the exhibition will take place in the presence of the director of the Frankfurter Buchmesse, Juergen Boos. The exhibition will also be accompanied by a reading with the successful Austrian author Robert Menasse on 5 October at the Adrion bookshop.
