Edith Schachinger is a trained journalist and actress. She currently works as a freelance (advertising) copywriter in Lower Austria. She is also a co-editor of the Female* Book, published in 2022.

Heinz Janisch, born in 1960, has worked as a radio presenter and writes books for children and adults. He has been honoured with the Austrian Art Award for Children’s and Youth Literature, the Christine Nöstlinger Award and the Hans Christian Andersen Award. 

Helga Bansch, born in 1957, trained to be a teacher. While working with children she discovered painting as a means of expression. Since then she has been an illustrator of children’s books. She has received the Outstanding Artist Award and the Austrian Art Award.
